The Goethe-Institut Montréal
-The library of the Goethe-Institut Montréal serves as an information centre
for all those who are interested in contemporary Germany and to students and
teachers of German. The library has more than 8,000 books in German, French, and
English, 600 videos, 500 audio cassettes and CDs, 100 slides, 40 newspapers and
magazines.

Nationes -Goethe-Institut Inter Nationes offers a wide range of 16 mm films
and videos: Feature films from 100 years of the German film history, through to
current titles and documentary films reporting on cultural life in the Federal
Republic of Germany. A cultural magazine and a youth magazine round off the
programme. The films are available for non-commercial cultural events and for
use in teaching.

Friends of the German Film Archive are a non-profit organization. They were
established in the year 1963, based in Berlin, and operate the cinema
Arsenal.They organize once a year in the context of the International Berlin
Film Festival the International Forum of New Cinema. The 'Freunde' also
distribute films and publish monthly programmes, brochures and books.
