Making German Real

A web site made by Advanced students of German

Using the Laptops: Turn it on. At Novell, put in your username and your password, which is your ID number without the first zero. You have to be sure to scroll down on the Novell sign to sure it says, "student. " and has your alpha on it.

Then go up to "My Computer", double click and find your share folder. It will have your username on it. That is where you can save things. Whatever you save there, be sure to put it on the Floppy, too.

After that, click on "Netscape" and start to work. You can go directly to a search engine like Yahoo, or try some sites on my list.

The most important thing here is to find sites, save the URL in a list, so that you and others can get there to use them. Be sure to actually go to the sites to be sure the links are good before you list them.

Internet assignments: Find all you can about your area

Save it to your disk. Be sure to have all URLS or LINKS to the sites.
