DIRECTED DIALOGUE:  There may be two entries per school on each level: Level one and Level two. The judges will ask questions, which will be on his/her level or understanding.
Sources: textbooks on each level, i.e., the "So sagt man das" section in the KOMM MIT series. Judges will look for: pronunciation, degree of fluency, knowledge of topic, grammatical correctness.

 

                      DIRECTED DIALOGUE RULES FOR JUDGING

Ask each student at least 5 and not more than 10 questions.  Use the questions in the list or those of equal difficulty.  There are two critique sheets. One is for keeping track of each question for your convenience. Mark the regular one for grading the contestant.
