Dance Rules |
If
not a current student of German, students must have completed at least 2 years
of German to be
contestants at Sprachfest, Winterfest, Houstonfest and State and be a member
of the German Club in his/her school.
If there is any question as to student status, the school will be contacted
and asked directly about the student(s) in question.
This rule is designed to protect legitimate entries. The cases in point are
the possibilty to just get students from the bands, orchestras, professional
folk dance groups, artists or others who have no real connection to the German
program in the school involved. We are not running a professional contest,
but rather a contest for students of German.
