(For those of you familiar with State Comtest at
UT, it is the main building where many of the events are held.)
Driving Directions
from I-35 would be to take the MLK exit (the exit street after 15th St. if
you are coming north on I-35 into Austin). Then take MLK Blvd. west
to San Jacinto (about 2 blocks) or to University Ave. (about 4 blocks).
If you can find parking (that is not reserved "at all times") on
21st Street you can use that, or you can proceed north on Speedway one block
to a parking lot that should still have some spots available before 8:30 a.m

Explanation of Workshop
The
workshops are Spiele im Unterricht and aktuelle deutsche Musik.
It sounds like she has some great activities
planned for us, so be ready to actively engage on Saturday! She also
plans, to the best of her ability, to apply her workshop info to all levels
of German – elementary through college level,
in order to appeal to all of our members!

How to Join the AATG
If you have not joined or renewed your AATG membership, please plan to do so. For those of you already in AATG, you should have received your renewal form, which you can fill out and send in, or you can simply go online and renew. For those of you new to AATG, please visit www.aatg.org The first thing on the home page when you open it up has information and links for joining/renewing. To continue enjoying the benefits of our workshops, updates, and meetings, it is important to get connected and join!!!
Inservice Credit
will be awarded for 4 hours for one session and 8 hours for attending two sessions. Clear this with your school administration prior to Sept 16. Cerificates of attendance will be given out after the meeting.
