These Stipends are made possible by Gail Cope through her generosity and deep commitment to the Texas State German Contest. Ms Cope taught German for 34 years at W.T. White in Dallas. She retired in 2001. She was a  member of the Steering Committee of the Texas State German Contest when in began in 1982 and remains a member today.

A big “Thank you” to the winning teachers, who care enough to get their students involved in the contests. As teachers, you definitely make a difference!

Each teacher will receive the appropriate check and a certificate designed specially for this award. The name of the winning student will be on each. The big envelope should arrive in the next few days. If you have questions, please ask me!

If you would like to thank Ms Cope, you may email her at: gailcope@sbcglobal.net
