REGISTRATION RULES for 2008

Registration is due by February 16, 2008. The entry fee is $10.00 per contestant.

The "Early Bird"registration entry fee is $8.00 and the deadline for that is February 9, 2008; this deadline will be strictly followed.
"Early Bird" means the fees must be received at PO Box 6872 by or before February 9.

Please use the REGISTRATION form on this web site. Follow all instructions carefully on the official entry form. Your registration form must be sent to me directly with the click of a key. See explanation on the registration form page. Please do this in a timely manner, so that I will know you are coming and that your check is in the mail.

ALL ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID ON OR BEFORE THE February 16, 2008.
That means the fees must be received at PO Box 6872 by or before Feb 16.
Each entry fee covers the entrant for as many events as he/she may be qualified for, including both individual and group contests.

Schools that have qualifying groups and/or individuals for the State contest, but decide not to participate in the State Contest, must inform the Director of the Area contest where their students qualified ON THE DAY OF THE AREA CONTEST. This must also be done on the State registration form.

On the Registration form be sure to do the following

TEACHERS.

No school will be permitted to complete unless the teacher of German accompanies his/her students. We must all take responsibility for the success of the contest.

Teachers are responsible for the conduct of their students at all times and especially in the awards assembly. Students who are rude may be thrown out and the school could be disqualified from future competition. Radios, Cassette Recorders (except with earphones) are strictly forbidden. It is considered poor conduct to have these in the contest areas at any time. Skate Boards, roller skates, cycles of any kind are not allowed in the contest areas.
