1. Go to Yahoo and find a short story / article about something that is

interesting to you and easy enough to translate on your own to German.

2. Go to http://babel.altavista.com(cut and paste the article), and have Alta Vista

translate it for you.

3. Write some sentences of your own in idiomatic English, translate them

through Alta Vista.

4. Write some German idiomatic sentences and translate them through Alta

Vista.

5. Translate some phrases you know from English to German and back.
